In the Aotearoa of the not-too-distant-future, two inquisitive rangatahi are prompted by an ailing Papatūānuku, the earth Mother, to seek knowledge about energy in order to both safeguard the environment from future harm and benefit those who have empowered them.
As the pair traverse the landscape, they join with other like minded adventurers to complete vicious missions and overcome a series of obstacles to gain valuable insights from the atua - potent and powerful energies who guard different environments; they also encounter individual experts in various fields who provide advice and assistance regarding sustainable energy and associated technology.
